The design classic of Rosenthal studio-line, with a graphic decor family that follows and clarifies the shape. The decor of the TAC Skin Platinum porcelain series from Rosenthal Porcelain picks up on the theme of structure in interplay with the contrast between matt and glossy surfaces. An idea that Walter Gropius already pursued in his first design. A relief is created on the flat pieces by sandblasting, while hollow pieces such as the teapot are given a velvety, matte surface by the etching technique. Small superimposed leaves create a platinum-colored mosaic that extends over the entire surface of the plate as well as emphasizing the form only as a contour on the edge.
